KB4girls World Tour 2010 in San Francisco Bay PDF Print E-mail

Sherman Island proved itself as the perfect location for a KB4girls event when 35 female kiteboarders put it to the test this past weekend. Located on the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta the island is known for water sports.

With 20 knots, sunshine and a perfectly ebbing tide the conditions on Saturday turned out to be perfect. Thanks to the amazing kiteboarding school Kitopia and the Sherman Island Lake Marina the participants plus all the assistants were shuttled up to an easy launching and learning spot reserved only for the girls.

KB4girls World Tour in Catalogna PDF Print E-mail

On the heels of the Egyptian clinic the most multi-nationally attended KB4girls event to date, the camp in St Pere Pescador, Catalonia, from May 28-30 lifted the tour to a new level. New standards were attained in taking the tour to two countries simultaneously as the passionate kitesurf "addicts" also headed across the Spanish border in search of the perfect conditions.

Unfortunate weather patterns over the Gulf of Roses meant the usually reliable thermal winds did not reach the usual strength which left the KB4girls group waiting for the necessary conditions.

KB4girls World Tour in Egypt PDF Print E-mail

The fourth leg of the KB4girls 2010 World Tour took part May 18th to 20th at the Red Sea destination of El Gouna/Egypt.
Participating girls traveling from 9 different countries and 4 different continents came in to join the event in the lovely resort area also known as the Venice of Africa.
Taking part within the calendar of the 3rd annual Kite Jamboree Festival the three day girls only event added special charm and value to this major event that also included demos of the latest kite gear, fun competitions, a beach fashion show, parties and more.

KB4girls World Tour clinic Maui PDF Print E-mail

The spectacular tropical Hawaiian island of Maui was at its peak and delivered perfect conditions for the 20 participants of the KB4girls camp at Action Beach Maui. From April 9th to 11th the girls gathered to be coached and trained by pro riders Tomoko Okazaki and Tonia Farman as well as World Champion Kristin Boese. Once again KB4girls proved to be a successful undertaking motivating kiting girls from all over the place, being inspired and pushing themselves to the next level of riding and many learned new tricks.

KB4girls 2010 World Tour event in Melbourne PDF Print E-mail

The KB4girls clinic in Melbourne proved to be a special event in many ways. The two-day clinic kicked off with 25 female kite-boarders from Melbourne and around Australia and lead the more advanced girls through the Australian National Championships in the 2 days that followed which, for some of the girls, was their first competition ever.
